Now we get to the sad pictures. This is Cindy with her instructor Ana Garcia. Cindy had to tell Ana she was leaving on Friday. Not only is Ana Cindy's instructor but she has become a good friend and they have a great time together during their four hours of class. For Cindy it wasn't just telling a friend goodbye. When a student leaves their instructor may not be able to work the next week, or the next, etc. It all depends on the number of students at the school and which of the instructors the school decides to use for any new students. We found out later that Ana did not work the next week. She was scheduled to work but her student cancelled.
Also, when a student leaves for a week they are not guarnateed to get the same instructor when they return. Cindy or Ana either one are not happy that they may not get to work together when Cindy returns.
Ana is a very strong Christian. Ana has already emailed Cindy twice to offer support and encouragement regarding her mom. And she has emailed Cindy a short Spanish lesson for Cindy to work on while in Evansville. These are the kind of people God is continuing to put in our lives on this adventure.
